What We Do

We created an inspiring S. pace that blurs the lines between mid-century modern and contemporary, indoors and outdoors and 1950’s period pieces with new. The S. pace is more of a collectible design destination showing authentic and highly sought after collectible creators.

The better part of the last 10 years, we spent creating a 20th Century Modern collection that can now be seen in one of the most important design cities in the world. In 2015, Detroit was the first American City to be named a UNESCO City of Design.

Many of the designers we feature have ties to the Detroit area, attended Cranbrook or their pieces were made in Michigan. These include Paul Evans, Harry Bertoia, Eames, Eero Saarinen, Michele Oka Doner, Herman Miller, Florence Knoll and Jackie Ferrara. We also work with and support a variety of institutions and foundations, e.g., The Harry Bertoia Foundation.
